The Recipes:
Dare I Say Cocktail
1 oz rye whiskey
.5 oz Fernet Branca
.5 oz sweet vermouth
.5 oz Aperol
2 dashes rhubarb bitters (sub Peychaud’s in a pinch)
Combine all ingredients, stir with ice and strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
Good Eats Company Punch
1.5 oz Batavia Arrack
.5 oz lime juice
1 oz demerara sugar
2 oz black tea
Nutmeg for garnish
Stir the sugar, lime juice and tea until the sugar is well dissolved, then add the hull of your squeezed lime and the rest of the ingredients to your shaker. Shake until chilled and strain over crushed ice in a rocks glass. Garnish with a lime.
Fog Cutter
1.5 oz lemon juice
1 oz Bacardi 8 Rum
1 oz Champagne cognac VSOP
.75 oz orange juice
.5 oz Tanqueray London Dry Gin
.5 oz Orgeat
Shake with crushed ice and pour drink, including ice, into a tiki mug. Top with more crushed ice. Garnish with a mint sprig.
Hoot Mon
2 oz Scotch
.5 oz Lillet blanc
.5 oz Sweet vermouth
Combine ingredients and stir with ice until well chilled. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
