Ep 73: Community Supported Bacon with Patrick Dacy

The Situations:

Patrick Dacy of Duke’s Liquor Box, Brooklyn’s coolest liquor store, learned that bacon can be prepared in the oven, Chris is taking the country air and Ben got trapped in the elevator.

The Drinks:
Whiskey Cobblerwhiskey-cobbler
2 oz Bourbon
.25 oz sugar syrup
fresh raspberries and blackberries
2 dashes peach bitters

Shake all ingredients including five berries hard with ice and strain in to a collins glass filled with crushed ice. Top off with soda water and garnish with fresh raspberries and blackberries. Serve with a straw.

1.5 oz gin
.75 oz fresh lemon juice
2 tsp. raspberry syrup
1 fresh egg white

Combine ingredients in a shaker and shake without ice for 10 seconds. Add ice and shake vigorously for at least 10 seconds. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.

Blackthornblackthorn
1.5 oz Plymouth Gin
.75 oz Plymouth Sloe Gin
.75 oz Carpano Antica Sweet Vermouth
2 dashes house orange bitters

Stir with ice and stain into a chilled coupe. Garnish with an orange twist.

Coin Toss
2 oz Scarlet Ibis rum
.75 oz Carpano Antica Formula vermouth
.25 oz yellow Chartreuse
.25 oz Bénédictine
2 dashes Peychaud’s bitters

Stir all ingredients with ice and strain in to a cocktail glass.

Safe Sex on the Beach
3 oz cranberry juice
3 oz grapefruit juice
2 oz peach nectar
1 maraschino cherry

Pour over ice in a chilled glass and stir. Garnish with a cherry.
