Episode 28: Stage fright, 25 year reunion, and video game anticipation with Chuck Bryant

The Situations:

Chuck Bryant skipped his 25 year high school reunion, Ben is super excited about a video game he hasn’t yet had time to play, and Chris is anticipating stage fright when Let’s Drink About It joins Stuff You Should Know onstage in Toronto.

The Drinks:

Headwall
1 oz gin
1 oz light rum
1 tsp lemon juice
1 dash of grenadine
1 scoop of crushed ice
Ginger ale

Mix all the ingredients, except the ginger ale, in a shaker. Pour the mixture into a chilled highball glass and top off with cold ginger ale.

Green Destiny
2 oz Zubrowka Bison vodka
1.5 oz pressed apple juice
.25 oz simple syrup
.5 kiwi fruit.
1 inch of cucumber

Muddle cucumber and kiwi in the base of a shaker. Add other ingredients shake w/ ice and fine strain in a glass filled w/ crushed ice.

Brave Bull
2 oz blanco tequila
1 oz Kahlua coffee liquer

Pour tequila into an old fashioned glass w/ice cubes. Add Kahlua. Lightly mix before serving.

Brazilian Heather
1.5 oz Leblon Cachaca
1 oz Elderflower Liqueur (St Germain)
.5 oz Dry Vermouth
.5 oz Lime Juice

Shake all ingredients with ice in a cocktail shaker. Strain into an old-fashioned glass full of ice. Garnish with a lime wedge.
