Our pal Shit Food Blogger joins us to celebrate our 💯th episode. We’re pulling out all the stops and cutting loose! It’s a #CremeDeBonanza!

The Recipes:

Ramos Gin Fizzramos-gin-fizz-2
2 oz gin
.5 oz fresh lemon juice
.5 oz simple syrup
.5 oz fresh lime juice
1 egg white
1 oz heavy cream
1/2 teaspoon orange flower water
~2 oz of seltzer

Chill your whipped cream maker and a 12 oz serving glass in the freezer. Mix all ingredients but the seltzer with ice and shake until well chilled. Strain into the whipped cream maker and charge with CO2. Shake the whipped cream maker a bit to incorporate the gas, then spray into your chilled serving glass until it’s near the top. Add seltzer until the foam bulges over the top of the glass. Serve with a straw and a spoon.

1.5 oz dry gin
.5 oz st germain
.5 oz simple syrup
1 oz lemon juice
1 oz apple juice
6 mint leaves
4 grapes

Muddle the grapes and simple syrup in a shaker, add remaining ingredients and fill with ice. Shake and strain into a highball glass filled with crushed ice.

Frank Collins (via)frank-collins-2
1.5 oz gin (or any spirit you have)
1.5 oz frank consommé*
3 dashes Worcestershire sauce
2 oz beer to top
hot dog spear

Add all but the beer to a shaker with ice, shake to chill and strain into a Collins glass over fresh ice. Top with beer and garnish with a hot dog spear that has been cooked or not. It doesn’t matter.

*cook several hot dogs in boiling water. Reserve the water.

1.75 oz Plymouth Gin
.75 oz Lemon juice
.5 oz Simple Syrup
1 Egg white
1 dash Reagan’s Orange Bitters No. 6
1 Orange twist for garnish

Pour the gin, egg white, juice, syrup and bitters into a shaker. Dry shake. Add ice and shake vigorously for at least 45 seconds. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass and garnish with the orange twist.

Ox Blood Cocktail
1.5 oz bourbon
1 oz beet syrup*
.75 oz fresh lemon juice
Kosher salt
1 sprig fresh tarragon

In a shaker, combine the bourbon, beet syrup, lemon juice and a pinch of salt; fill with ice and shake to chill. Double strain into an ice-filled rocks glass. Garnish.

* Beet Syrup
In a small, nonreactive pot over medium heat, combine 1 cup of red beet juice (store-bought, or from about 2 medium beets) and ⅓ cup of cane sugar, stirring constantly, until the sugar dissolves, 4 to 5 minutes. Let cool completely. Store in a sealed container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week (though the syrup is best when used right away). Makes about 10 oz.

Bloody Shame
5 oz Tomato Juice
.5 oz Fresh lemon juice
8 drops Tabasco sauce
4 dashes Worcestershire Sauce
.5 barspoon Horseradish sauce
2 pinches Celery salt
2 grinds Black pepper

Rock ingredients in a shaker with ice and fine strain into an ice filled glass.

Spazerac
2.5 oz Rye whiskey
.5 oz Simple syrup
1 tsp Absinthe
.25 oz Lemon juice
3 dashes Peychauds Bitters

Add all the ingredients to a blender with just under 1 cup of ice. Blend until smooth and pour into an Old Fashioned glass.
