Paper Plane
.75oz Bourbon
.75oz Amaro Nonino
.75oz Campari
.75oz Lemon Juice
Shake ingredients with ice. Double strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with a lemon twist.
Royal Smile
1 oz gin
.75 oz applejack or calvados
.75 oz lime
.75 oz grenadine
Add all ingredients to shaker, fill completely with ice and shake vigorously. Strain into glass.
A Furlong Too Late
2 oz white rum
4 oz ginger beer
1 twist lemon peel
Pour rum and ginger beer into a highball glass almost filled with ice cubes. Stir well, and garnish with a lemon twist.

St. Bruno’s Cure
1 ounce gin
1 ounce yellow Chartreuse liqueur
2 dashes Angostura bitters
4 ounces apple cider
1 ounce fresh lemon juice
½ ounce honey
6 black peppercorns
1 apple slice
Combine gin, Chartreuse, and bitters in a warm mug. Bring apple cider, lemon juice, honey, and peppercorns to a boil in a small saucepan, stirring to dissolve honey. Strain mixture into mug. Garnish with apple slice.

Melon Daiquiri
2 oz Sake
3/4 cup chopped yellow and honeydew melon
2 oz simple syrup
1 oz fresh lime juice
2 melon balls for garnish
Blend all ingredients with a handful of ice and serve in a large goblet. Garnish with two melon balls.

Madison Avenue Cocktail
1.5 oz white rum
.75 oz cointreau
.5 oz fresh lime juice
dash of orange bitters
3 mint leaves
sprig of fresh mint for garnish
lime slice for garnish
Shake all ingredients except the garnish with ice and strain into a rocks glass filled with ice. Garnish with the mint sprig and lime.
I have a theory about the crew de banana. I worked in a liquor store for a few years in high school. We had three bottles of this on the shelf that never sold for at least while I worked there. Every few weeks I would dust them off and face the labels. I think stores get these as some kind of starter kit from distributors. That’s why they are on the shelf.
Having gotten a weird look when I bought the bottle we’ve been slugging out of on the show, that sounds pretty plausible!
